Merchant Requirements

Requirements to be approved to have your store on the FencyPay network:
  • Permanent brick & mortar retail store
  • Open regular hours with public access
  • Access for staff or management to a web browser (mobile, tablet, or desktop) to verify sales submitted by customers within 24 hours 
  • Business bank account for ACH billing payments
Suggestions to be successful on the platform but not required:
  • Frequent posting business updates & photos to The Plaza at least a few times a week
  • Willingness to push new FencyPay sign-ups & earning/redeeming rewards to your customers
  • Be within 5 miles of multiple other businesses that would be ideal for the FencyPay platform
Businesses lacking the requirements are less likely to be approved, though we consider all businesses on a case-by-case basis to not only be sure FencyPay can provide value to the merchants but also be a great experience for consumers.
